While genomics and transcriptomics are well established fields, multi-omics is a developing area with the potential to unite assays and analyses across the many points of molecular biology’s Central Dogma. Applying these new, large scale multi-omics approaches is critical to understanding novel biological mechanisms and developing new knowledge about complex and intricate biological systems. Harnessing multi-omics data requires significant compute power to enable analysis at scale, and cloud systems can offer that power. 

Annalisa Pawloski and Hatem Nawar from Google Cloud will be disscussing how Cloud systems can be used for multi-omics analysis. They will lead a detailed exploration of every touch point in analysis from:

automating data from experimental Windows instruments into the Cloud,
automating analysis functions within the Cloud,
using Cloud Functions to report back and interact with scientists,
building custom analysis,
importing public data sets.
