ELIXIR brings together bioinformatics resources from across Europe countries and helps researchers access, analyse, integrate and exchange life science data.

EMBL-EBI is one of the ELIXIR Members and many of the EMBL-EBI services are included in the ELIXIR portfolio (including eleven EMBL-EBI resources selected as ELIXIR Core Data Resources).

The ELIXIR Open Day is specifically aimed at researchers and developers working on the Wellcome Genome Campus and will explain the interactions between ELIXIR, EMBL-EBI and other partners (eg. GA4GH). The participants will learn how teams working on the Campus can take advantage of ELIXIR’s pan-European infrastructure and get involved in ELIXIR activities.

The agenda will focus on the operational and technical developments taking place over the next five years. The topics will include access and identity management systems (ELIXIR AAI), federated human data, ELIXIR's Strategic Partnership with GA4GH, collaboration with industry and more. The programme will be relevant to all researchers on the Campus (EMBL-EBI, the Sanger Institute and the Campus-based companies)!

On this day you will also have the opportunity to find out more about the ELIXIR team and network with people working on similar projects.
