The webinar will present the results of the ELIXIR Implementation Study "Mapping the landscape of Biocuration in ELIXIR" run from December 2018 until May 2020.

The Implementation study aimed at:


Reviewing and mapping the type of curation work being done, for which databases across ELIXIR, and in which life science/health domains;
Identifying the tools curators are currently using for curation tasks;
Assessing the capacity requirements for new curators and training provision available;

The goal was to produce an initial map of (1) biocurators, (2) manually curated knowledgebases and data repositories, (3) curation tools and resources.
