Alan Bridge (ELIXIR Switzerland) will present outcomes from the Systems Biology Implementation Study which looks at the requirements for a European bioinformatics resource for microbial metabolism. This will include a practical demonstration of how existing ELIXIR partner resources (HAMAP, Rhea, MicroScope and Ensembl) can be integrated with ELIXIR Core Data Resources (UniProt and ChEBI) using RDF and SPARQL to support typical requirements such as the construction of draft genome scale metabolic networks.
