The Bacterial Diversity Metadatabase —BacDive— is the worldwide most extensive database for standardised bacterial phenotypic information. It mobilises and integrates research data on strain level from diverse sources and makes it freely accessible.

Today, BacDive offers data on 81,827 bacterial and archaeal strains, including 14,091 type strains, covering approximately 90% of the validly described species.

This webinar will give an introduction to the more than 150 BacDive data fields and will illustrate how to use the different tools to find interesting datasets for your research.
