“New research issues in the life sciences require new research tools,” said Nico Callewaert of the VIB-UGent Center for Medical Biotechnology and organizing committee member of this conference. “We are pushing back the limits of bio-analytical and bioengineering tools to arrive at a new technological approach to drug development, diagnostics, vaccines, therapies, etc.”
With this conference on Medical Biotechnology VIB will bring together experts in the field to discuss the new developments and future challenges in this field. During four plenary sessions the following topics will be covered:
