Bacterial Genome Assembly - Tuesday 14 & Thursday 16 June 2022
With the advent and improvement of long read sequencing technologies, bacterial genome assembly and annotation is easier and more effective than ever. At the end of this course you will be able to perform genome assembly and polishing of PacBio sequencing followed by annotation with prokka. Additionally you will be able to assess the quality of the genome with contiguity measures from QUAST and genome completeness estimation with BUSCO.

Places are restricted to UK-based researchers and only 20 places are available so please only register if you intend on attending.

The workshop will be held over two days on Tuesday 14 and Thursday 16 June 2022, 10am-4pm, with registration opening 9.30am on Tuesday.

The deadline to register is Monday 30th June. You will hear later that week whether you have been invited and will need to confirm your attendance.
