This workshop will introduce participants to the publicly-available data resources provided by EMBL-EBI. It will serve to introduce the organisation, the role it plays in the wider life science data landscape, and provide a high-level overview of the data, resources and basic tools available to researchers.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, spend time exploring data of interest, and providing feedback that will help plan for future workshops that will offer a more in-depth explanation of key resources.

Venue: EMBL-EBI Wellcome Genome Campus

Region: CAMBRIDGE

Country: United Kingdom

Postcode: CB10 1SD

Target audience: The workshop is aimed at PhD students and researchers at The Open University. Participants would benefit from an undergraduate knowledge of the biological or chemical life sciences, or a background in human health and disease.
