Concepts, methods, and resources in pangenomics
Date: 1 October - 12 November 2025
Pangenomics explores the full set of genes found within a species, encompassing both the core genes shared by all individuals and the accessory (variable) genes that differ between them. By moving beyond a single reference genome, this approach captures the complete genetic diversity of a species and provides insights into variation, adaptation, and evolution at the population level.
This webinar series offers a comprehensive introduction to pangenomic concepts and methods, highlighting their applications across diverse life science fields. The series will also showcase open-access methods and resources from EMBL-EBI that support pangenome research.
The webinars making up this series are listed below. Follow the links to find out more about each webinar. You will need to register for each webinar you would like to attend. Recordings will be made openly available for all webinars on their individual pages.
Please note that additional webinars may be added to the list shortly.
